Open the Item Recall window.
Specifies the posted documents where a recalled item was used including how and when it was received, produced, transferred, sold, consumed or returned.
These features are useful in quality control when you need to find out which customers received products with a particular lot number or when you need to find out which lot a defective component came from.
In order to post the recall, there must be at least one line.
The actions available from the window are as follows:
- Recall: Populates the Lines FastTab based on the entered filters.
- Post: Releases and posts the item recall, and then deletes the item recall record. In order to post the recall, there must be at least one line. The posted item recalls can be viewed from the Posted Item Recall window.
- Release: Sets the status to Released. A released record cannot be modified.
- Reopen. Sets the status to Open. An open record can be modified.
