Specifies the status of the family.
Determine the status by clicking the field and selecting one of 4 options:

New |
Select this option if the family is new. You can edit the contents of the fields. |

Certified |
Select this option to certify the family. You cannot edit the contents of the fields once a family has been certified. |

Under Development |
Select this option if the family is under development. With this status you can edit the contents of the fields. |
|
Closed |
Select this option if the family is no longer in use. |
