Indicates the family BOM number. The family BOM contains the item(s) that will be consumed in order to create the items specified on the line. Those family BOM's costs will be distributed across the family lines based on the value in the Family BOM Cost. Dist. % field.
If there is more than one BOM version, the active version will be used.
The BOM needs to be certified before you can change the status of the family to Certified. You cannot change the field if the family has been certified.
The BOM will be pushed to production orders.
