Defines the default warehouse shipment sorting method for a location. When you set the default sorting method, the Sorting Method field on the Warehouse Shipment window will be automatically populated with the default sorting method of that location.
Contains the method by which the shipments are sorted. If you change the method, you change how the lines are sorted.
The following sorting methods exist:
- Blank
- Item
- Document
- Shelf or Bin: If bins are mandatory, then items are sorted by bin and then by shelf. If bins are NOT mandatory, then items are sorted by shelf only.
- Due Date
- Ship-to
