Specifies the item's indirect cost based on defined overhead rate categories. The amount is added to the item’s unit cost to reflect indirect cost or overhead, such as freight and warehouse handling that is associated with the purchase of the item.
The value is the total overhead rate that will be applied when purchases are posted for the item. Click the field to open the Item Overhead Rates window, where you can define the overhead categories for the item.
If this field is populated, the Overhead Rate field is cleared and can no longer be manually populated.
