In order to use the Browser function, you need to install the Browser add-in on each Role Tailored Client machine.

To install the Browser add-in

  1. Obtain the NAVInternetAddin.zip file.

    This zip file should have been part of the upgrade. Contact Customer Care (support@justfooderp.com) if you cannot find the file.

  2. Extract the NAVInternetAddin folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\71\RoleTailored Client\Add-ins.The folder should contain the following files:

    • NAVInternetAddIn.dll
    • NAVInternetAddIn.pdb

  3. Copy the NAVInternetAddin folder to all Role Tailored Client machines.

    Note: Once the add-in install is complete, if you have added the Role Center Browser FactBox to a role center, but the FactBox shows an error that says Control Add-in Error, then check that the Control Add-ins window has the following values:

    • Control Add-in Name: NAVInternetAddIn.IEAddIn
    • Public Key Token: bffc7fe8d2bc834e
    • Description: RoleCenter URL Browser
