Event Notifications

The following Event Notification was added to the Events window:

  • ITEM_RECALL: Notifies event contacts if an item recall is posted.

Floor

Quality Audit Wizard

The Auto-Open Quality Audit on Receipt check box was added to the NAV Floor Setup window. Select the check box if you want the Floor application to automatically open the newly created quality audit when a receipt is posted and a quality audit is generated.

Quality Holds

A number series is now used when a quality hold is posted from the Floor application. The number series is defined in the Quality Hold Posting No. Series field on the NAV Floor Setup window.

Warehouse Shipment Pick Creation

If the Whse. Shipment Pick Creation check box is selected on the Floor Setup window, in Floor, on the Warehouse Shipment Lines page, when a line is selected, a new pick will be opened, or if a pick has already been created, the existing pick will be opened.

Manufacturing

Auto-Prioritize

The Auto-Prioritize routine was updated to accept a starting date (starting time is already accepted). The routine will populate the starting date into the Re-Scheduled Date field on the Machine Center Task Line window or the Work Center Task Line window if the following conditions are met:

  • The Priority field is validated.
  • The starting date has a value.
  • The Re-Scheduled Date field is blank.

Centers-Where Used

The Where-used action was added to the following windows:

  • Work Center Card
  • Work Center List
  • Machine Center Card
  • Machine Center List

The action allows you to see where the center has been used.

Dimensions

The Dimensions FactBox was removed from the Manufacturing Setup window. The FactBox is no longer required because the Product Order Component now inherits the dimension from the current item not the main production order line item.

Non-Directed Pick

The Require Non-Directed Consumption Pick was added to the Location Card window. Select the check box to allow consumption picking for non-directed locations that are set up for picking.

Order Planning

On the Make Supply Orders window (accessed from Planned Production order window>Planning>Make Orders), the Release option was added to the Create Production Order field.

Purchases and Payables

Outstanding Quantity

The Outstanding Quantity field was added to the Posted Purchase Receipt window. When a purchase receipt is posted, this field is updated with the quantity that still needs to be received.

The Update Purch. Rcpt. Lines - Outstanding Qty. action was added to the Data Update Routines window. The action backfills the Outstanding Quantity field on the Posted Purchase Receipts window.

Queries

The following queries were added:

  • Customer Sales History (23019008): Shows the customer sales history from the item ledger (invoices and credits). Shows the following totals: Quantity (Base UOM), Amount (LCY) and Catch Weight (Std. Weight UOM).
  • Vendor Purchase History (23019009): Shows the vendor purchase history from the item ledger (invoices and credits). Shows the following totals: Quantity (Base UOM), Amount (LCY) and Catch Weight (Std. Weight UOM).

To activate these new data feeds, you need to initialize the web services:

  1. In the Search box, enter web services, and choose Web Services. The Web Services window opens.

  2. On the Actions tab, choose All OData Services.

Quality Hold Journals

The Quality Hold Journals now use a number series when posting a quality hold. The number series is defined in the Posting No. Series field on the Quality Hold Batches window.

The Calculate Payout by Salesperso report was deleted. The report was replaced by the Sales Commissions report.

Deleted Reports

The following reports were removed from the database because they were not upgraded to RDLC. If a customer wants any of these reports, the report will need to be moved to a custom range report ID. Create Reporting Date Feed

The Create Reporting Date Feed report was created, which is used to create reporting date feed entries in the Reporting Date Feed table (23025027). The Reporting Date Feed table can be used by external reporting tools. The data in the Reporting Date Feed table is used to get a consistent set of dates for a report. For example if you did a sales report by week, if you only used the Ledger Entry table and grouped by dates, then you might see gaps in the report where you had no transactions. Using the Reporting Date Feed table allows you to have a consistent view of the data. The Reporting Date Feed table also allows you to generate reports based on your accounting periods in NAV.

The report can be run in the following ways:

  • By choosing Create Report Date Feed on the Accounting periods window.
  • By selecting Create Report Date Feed check box on the Create Fiscal Year report.

The date for the Report Date Feed report can be viewed from the Reporting Date Feed window, which is opened from the Account Periods window (Reporting Date Feed option).

Detailed Calculation Report

The Detailed Calculation report was created. The report is used to view the active version of BOM costs. Users can provide a date for a specific set of BOM costs. The logic within the report will look for the production BOM and routing on the item, and will use the active version if there is an active version.

The Detailed Calculation - BOM report (23019530) was deleted. The related report links were removed from the following windows:

  • Item Card (Costed Bill of Materials link)
  • Item List (Costed Bill of Materials link)
  • Production BOM Version List (BOM Detailed Cost link)
  • Production BOM Version (BOM Detailed Cost link)
  • Production BOM List (BOM Detailed Cost link)
  • Production BOM (BOM Detailed Cost link)

Item Usage 10 Week Report

The Item Usage 10 Week Report (23019005) was created, which shows all of the items that were sold or used in the last ten weeks.

Role Centers

The following role centers were updated:

  • PM Technician Role Center (23019297)

Reports

The My Reports FactBox is now available from the Role Centers. In the My Reports window, you can create and manage a list of your most commonly used NAV reports.

Note: You cannot add reports that were created outside of NAV.

URL Browser

The RoleCenter Browser FactBox is now available from the Role Centers. The FactBox displays the URLs that have been associated with the selected Role Center. The URLs are assigned to the Role Centers from the new Browser URL Setup window.

Sales

Outstanding Quantity

The Outstanding Quantity field was added to the Posted Sales Shpt. window. When a sales shipment is posted, this field is updated with the quantity that still needs to be shipped.

The Update Sales Shpt. Lines - Outstanding Qty. action was added to the Data Update Routines window. The action backfills the Outstanding Quantity field on the Posted Sales Shpt. window.

Skype

Customers now have the ability to launch Skype from JustFoodERP. In order to use the Skype functionality, the following needs to be done:

  • Install the Skype application on the client machine .
  • Enter a Skype ID in the Skype ID field for the appropriate Skype contact.

The Skype ID field was added to the following windows:

  • Contact Card
  • Customer Card
  • Employee Card
  • Employee List
  • Location Card
  • Resource Card
  • Salesperson/Purchaser Card
  • User Setup

Bins

If the Create Stockkeeping Unit function is run from the Item Card window, then the Allow Multi-UOM Bin Content field is now populated with the Allow Multi-UOM Bin Content value from the item’s location.

BOM Structure

The Properties, Ingredients and Picture FactBoxes were added to the BOM Structure window (5870).

Item Picture

The Item Picture FactBox was created, which displays the picture associated with the item. The Item Picture FactBox is available from the following windows:

  • Items
  • Item Card
  • BOM Structure

Item Recall

The Item Recalls function was added. Use the Item Recall window to create an item recall, and use the Posted Item Recall window to view the posted item recalls.

The Item Recall option was added to the Lines FastTab on the Inquiry Tracking window. When the option is selected, the Item Recall window opens, and the Inquiry Tracking fields and the applicable Filter fields are automatically populated. The Item Trace option was removed.

Zetadocs

Customers, who use the Zetadocs add-in, can now add the Documents Factbox to certain windows. The Documents Factbox allows Zetadocs users to view the Zetadocs add-in.
