This table contains the reporting date feed.
The data in the Reporting Date Feed table is used to get a consistent set of dates for a report. For example if you did a sales report by week, if you only used the Ledger Entry table and grouped by dates, then you might see gaps in the report where you had no transactions. Using the Reporting Date Feed table allows you to have a consistent view of the data. The Reporting Date Feed table also allows you to generate reports based on your accounting periods in NAV.
The table can be populated as follows:
- Choose the Create Report Date Feed action on the Accounting Periods window.
- Select the Create Report Date Feed check box on the Create Fiscal Year report.
