Open the Detailed Calculation window.

The report is used to view the BOM costs. Users can provide a date for a specific set of BOM costs. The logic within the report will look for the production BOM and routing on the item, and will use the active version if there is an active version.

If the report is run from a Production BOM window, the system will look for the first item that has that production BOM and apply that as the item filter (if applicable).

This report does not calculate the cost.

The report can be opened in the following ways:

Alternate Cost

Enter a value between 1 and 6. The number defines the priority of the cost selection to be used when reporting the BOM costs. When the report is run, it will look at the cost with a value of 1, and if there is no cost, then it will look at the cost with a value of 2, and so on. If no cost is found, the line will show as zero in the report.

Last Landed Cost Enter a value between 1 and 6. The number defines the priority of the cost selection to be used when reporting the BOM costs. When the report is run, it will look at the cost with a value of 1, and if there is no cost, then it will look at the cost with a value of 2, and so on. If no cost is found, the line will show as zero in the report.
Last Direct Cost Enter a value between 1 and 6. The number defines the priority of the cost selection to be used when reporting the BOM costs. When the report is run, it will look at the cost with a value of 1, and if there is no cost, then it will look at the cost with a value of 2, and so on. If no cost is found, the line will show as zero in the report.
Unit Cost Enter a value between 1 and 6. The number defines the priority of the cost selection to be used when reporting the BOM costs. When the report is run, it will look at the cost with a value of 1, and if there is no cost, then it will look at the cost with a value of 2, and so on. If no cost is found, the line will show as zero in the report.
Average Cost Enter a value between 1 and 6. The number defines the priority of the cost selection to be used when reporting the BOM costs. When the report is run, it will look at the cost with a value of 1, and if there is no cost, then it will look at the cost with a value of 2, and so on. If no cost is found, the line will show as zero in the report.
Standard Cost Enter a value between 1 and 6. The number defines the priority of the cost selection to be used when reporting the BOM costs. When the report is run, it will look at the cost with a value of 1, and if there is no cost, then it will look at the cost with a value of 2, and so on. If no cost is found, the line will show as zero in the report.
Use Highest Cost Select to have the report use the highest cost of the 6 options.
Calculation Date Enter a date to search for BOMs that were calculated on a particular date.
