Open the 
Create Template from Master window.
This report is used to create a template from a record. Users can create a template for an item, customer, vendor or contact. This allows users to quickly create new records based on a master template, which is useful when creating items, customers, vendors or contacts where much of the information is duplicated.
This report is accessed from the following windows by choosing the Create Template from Master action:
- Item Card
- Customer Card
- Vendor Card
- Contact Card
Options
| Field | Description |

| New Template Code | Code of the template. |
| New Template Description | Description of the template. |
| Table ID | Table ID that the template is based on. Automatically populated based on the master record. |
| Table Name | Name of the table that the template is based on. Automatically populated based on the master record. |
| Copy from Master Record | Record that the template is based on. Automatically populated based on the master record. |
